Kids' Ministry
Our desire is to see children of all ages develop a love for Jesus, through faithful Bible teaching in age-appropriate contexts. We want to see children’s lives transformed through the gospel, to the glory of God, and equip them to serve Him in every area of their lives.
We do this through:
Sunday School: 8:30am and 10am services
We believe that children are a vital part of the Kingdom of God, and a special part of our church family here at Christ Church Hermanus.
CCH kids attend the first part of the church service with their parents, and then move to the Kids Ministry area for teaching and ministry geared to their developmental maturity.

Sunday School During Construction...
Holiday Club 2026
Since 2004, Christ Church Stellenbosch and Christ Church Hermanus have partnered together to run a winter Holiday Club.
Every year, a team of enthusiastic, gospel-hearted students arrive and share God’s Word with children from all over Hermanus.
This year, the Holiday Club runs from Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July.
We can't wait to see your kids there for a week of fun, games and learning about Jesus!
We need lots of willing hands behind the scenes! If you are part of the Christ Church Hermanus family, you are welcome to help with catering or with some hands-on tasks each day.
Baby and Toddler Facilities to Support Parents
These are almost complete in the new building, and will enable parents to follow the service with an audiovisual feed, while their little ones play safely.

Family-Friendly Small Groups
There are a number of small groups in our church, which children can attend with their parents. These range from a morning group for moms with little ones, to evening Bible studies where children and young teens have a separate programme or Bible study especially for them.
