Ministries
Ephesians 4: 11-13
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
At Christ Church Hermanus, we serve each other in various ways, with the intention of bringing each person to maturity in Christ.

MEN'S MINISTRY

Life can be busy and demanding, and many men feel the weight of work, family, and faith. Our men’s ministry is a space to step aside, connect with other men, and be strengthened in Christ.
We meet weekly to read a portion of a book, talk it through, and encourage one another. Alongside this, we also enjoy men’s breakfasts, socials, and other events that help us build friendships and spur one another on in the Lord.
All men are welcome! Come along, be encouraged, and grow with us.
Tuesdays: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Fridays: 5:30am – 6:30am, 6:30am – 7:30am

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The aim of the women's ministry is to see women loving God, loving His word and loving one another. We have a few small groups that specifically cater for women, but women are encouraged to attend any of the small groups that suit their schedules. Once a term, we host an outreach tea where women can invite neighbours and friends to hear the gospel. Women are also encouraged to grow as part of the body of Christ in serving and caring for all who come to Christ Church Hermanus.

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

Connect Youth is a space where we seek to make Jesus known to teenagers and to equip them to follow Him for the rest of their lives. Connect is open to everyone in Grades 7 - 12, Fridays from 19:30 - 21:30
Our young adults Bible Study (from age 18) takes place every Tuesday evening from 19:30 - 21:30.

The key to our fellowship, caring and sharing and our personal growth as Christians; is our weekly get together with our friends in small groups in a home or at church, this for all ages including teens. The Bible is read, taught and discussed in an atmosphere of fellowship with one another and prayer for each other. We strongly desire for all to participate in this wonderful weekly blessing. Each group has it's own ambiance and there is one that will suit you.

HOW CAN I SERVE?
There are many ways to serve at Christ Church Hermanus. This leaflet is designed to help you identify a ministry to which you are suited.
The ministries listed here are grouped into two broad categories: those open to anyone who attends CCH (including newcomers), and those intended for members of CCH.
Whether you are still new to CCH, or have been part of this church family for many years, we encourage you to consider how you might serve at CCH, and so experience the joy of serving others, as Jesus taught us to do.
Warm Regards
Rev. Andre
